Hi, I'm Trevor. I'm happy you're here.

Family-owned. Family-operated.

We’ll always remain small enough to listen but large enough to deliver.

Hi! My name is Trevor Phibbs, and I’m the founder of Phibbs Financial. We’re a full-service fiduciary retirement planning firm that I founded after working for several multi-billion-dollar financial firms to start my career.

Truthfully, I really don’t enjoy talking about myself, as I’ve always been more interested in hearing other people’s stories rather than telling mine.

So, when I do speak about myself, I always highlight my family, because that is truly who I am.

At my core, I’m a husband, father, and son. Family is everything to me, which is why we are a family-owned and operated business.

That’s by design. It’s extremely important that my family is involved in every aspect of my life.

Phibbs Financial is also my legacy. I want to leave behind something my sons, Hudson and Beckett, can be proud of, something they can smile about one day knowing their “old man” did something impactful for many people.

Along with my wife, Kayla, our vision for the company is that our clients feel that family atmosphere, too. Our number one priority is they know they’re important to us personally and that our relationship with them is far more valuable than simply the sum of their assets.

Our clients deserve a partner to walk hand-in-hand with them through the best years of their lives.

Considering you’re reading this right now, there is a high likelihood that you’re looking to potentially make some changes.

I think the core responsibility of any financial advisor is to help you squeeze the most out of your life as possible. The most effective way I’ve discovered at helping our clients is by first asking them: What motivates you?

Once we understand you, as a person, we can craft a plan specifically designed to help make achieving your goals more obtainable.

Our commitment to you.

We’re dedicated to helping you live your best life.

Reduce financial anxiety.

We believe financial peace of mind is created by having a plan. This drastically helps lower stress about money. We want to empower our clients to enjoy their life and to know how much they can spend on their current priorities without sacrificing their long-term financial independence.

Proactive in our relationships.

Life can be chaotic and busy. It doesn't matter what stage of life you're in, it always seems like days are getting shorter. When appropriate, we encourage our clients to take a step back and establish what is most important to them. We then proactively help them take the necessary steps to continue their journey of financial independence.

Reliable sounding board.

It's important that our clients have confidence, comfort, and control of their financial decisions. We serve as a sounding board to provide advice whenever our clients need us so they can feel assured their plan is on track regardless of changes in health, career, the economy, or other unexpected conditions.

Raising the bar on customer service.

With the busy pace of life these days, it seems like most people no longer take the time to get to know each other. We value genuine human interactions and believe in prompt responses and relentless follow-through to ensure necessary actions are brought to completion. Rest assured, you're not just a data point here.

Making complex strategies feel simple.

The financial industry has the tendency to make things unnecessarily complicated. It doesn't have to be that way. We boil down information in an easy-to-understand format so you can relax knowing not only where your money is, but most importantly, what it's designed to accomplish.

Prioritizing ongoing financial education.

Knowledge is power. We strongly feel financial success is a derivative of logic and sound advice. We serve as an advocate for our clients to help them take rationale action based in evidence and education.

Diversified… like your investments.

My life outside of the firm.

Timing is important in football, not the market.

I’m obsessed with football. I love everything about the sport, especially following my alma mater, the University of Utah. When the Utes and/or Chiefs are playing, they have my undivided attention.

Great meals require planning, like a successful retirement.

I won’t be cooking for Gordan Ramsay on MasterChef anytime soon, but I sure do love to prepare meals for my family. I particularly enjoy using my Traeger Grill to smoke everything from BBQ to beef jerky.

My golf score is adjacent to investing long-term: HIGH.

I truly enjoy golfing. As an occasional weekend warrior, I’m a double bogey machine. That doesn’t stop me from enjoying the beauty of the game when I have the opportunity to get out and play.

Retirement income should resemble your travel arrangements = reliable.

Traveling is something I thoroughly enjoy. My favorite destinations are Las Vegas (shows), California (Disneyland), and Chicago (hot dogs). My bucket list vacation is to take a trip across the pond to England and Ireland.

Listening to quality music, not the media's financial "experts."

It’s difficult to be around me without music playing. I was raised on the radio. My favorite genre is country, although I have a wide range of music I enjoy. My all-time favorite band is Fleetwood Mac. However, Garth Brooks puts on the best show.

Unlike your retirement plan, drama is actually enjoyable in television.

Some of my all-time favorite shows are The Sopranos, Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, Yellowstone, Mad Men, Seinfeld, Modern Family, and Survivor. I'm not ashamed to admit I also have a guilty pleasure of watching shows on Bravo.

Retirement is calling.
